Succumbed

Santa brought Nomad staff i pads this year as the Christmas treat and after a couple of weeks of using them we have no idea how we managed before.  Our iphone’s now seem dull and lifeless, the icons are too small and how did we ever write anything on these?

In all seriousness though we have to admit that we were skeptics at first and it took us a while before we succumbed.  However after a great deal of fiddling with display products in airports and a good bit of chin scratching we decided that they would be a useful investment and could aid us with our research and it seems we were right.

It’s already becoming clear that the ipad will give us complete freedom to work where and when we want.  This means that now more than ever we are able to work at distance via social media or other online methods or we will be able to work in our clients places with no problems connecting to the web, sending emails, writing documents or accessing presentations.

We have a couple of upcoming projects where we can put them through their paces and are looking forward to this.  Until then we are fully converted and mentally queuing up (behind Stephen Fry) for the next i-thing.
